COMMEMORATION OF THE 55TH ASEAN FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
The Tariff Commission is pleased to support the celebration of the 55th ASEAN Founding Anniversary during the ASEAN Month in August 2022.
This year’s theme is ASEAN Youth: Embracing Identity Towards an Empowered Future which will focus on ASEAN youth, ASEAN identity, and the ASEAN community.

PHILIPPINE IMPLEMENTATION OF AHTN 2022
The Tariff Commission (TC) started implementing the 2022 version of the ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN 2022) on 01 July 2022 following the approval by the National Economic and Development Authority Board of its adoption on 27 May 2022.
Please be advised that beginning 01 July 2022, all Advance Rulings on Tariff Classification issued pursuant to Section 1100 of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (Republic Act No. 10863) under the 2017 version of the AHTN (AHTN 2017) are no longer valid.
The AHTN 2022 Philippine tariff schedules are carried on the Philippine Tariff Finder. Also uploaded on this website are the AHTN 2022 Tariff Book (online version) and the AHTN 2017-AHTN 2022 Correlation Table for reference and guidance.

PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT AGENDA
AMBISYON NATIN 2040
President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed Executive Order (EO) No. 5 in October 2016 approving and adopting the 25-year long-term vision entitled "AmBisyon Natin 2040" as guide for development planning. "AmBisyon Natin 2040" articulates the Filipino people's collective vision of a MATATAG, MAGINHAWA, AT PANATAG NA BUHAY PARA SA LAHAT.
In its preamble, EO No. 5 emphasized the need for a “bold vision and effective development planning” based on a “forward-looking approach that goes beyond a single administration". The Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022, as well as succeeding PDPs until 2040, is anchored on "AmBisyon Natin 2040". The current PDP also takes into account Philippine international commitments such as the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
